content: Who are we?

Voice Dialogue Europe is an independent international non-profit association (AISBL). We exist to support, protect and strengthen the Voice Dialogue approach in its depth, its clarity and its transformative potential.

We bring together people who practise, teach or explore Voice Dialogue, in the spirit of openness, cooperation and respect for the work of Hal & Sidra Stone.

Our vision

We aim for Voice Dialogue to be recognised as a rigorous and coherent approach that helps people relate to their inner world with more clarity, responsibility and psychological safety.

  • understand and differentiate from our inner voices,
  • navigate polarities with more stability and less reactivity,
  • relate to our vulnerability through a more grounded and conscious Aware Ego Process,
  • and make choices that are less driven by automatic identifications.

This strengthens inner leadership, relational clarity, and a more integrated sense of self.

Our positioning

Voice Dialogue Europe does not represent any particular school. We offer a neutral and independent space, beyond affiliations or traditions, where the diversity of the Voice Dialogue community can meet, dialogue and grow.

Our intention is to encourage:

  • cooperation rather than competition,
  • clarity rather than fragmentation,
  • and mutual recognition rather than division.

We stand for a Voice Dialogue that remains coherent, accessible and rooted in its original spirit — while also evolving with the world.

Our mission

Our mission rests on three pillars:

  • Quality – defining clear criteria for facilitators and trainers, to support professional and reliable practice.
  • Ethics (IVDA) – upholding the ethical principles expressed in the International Voice Dialogue Agreement (IVDA), and encouraging transparency and integrity.
  • International community – connecting people, schools, languages and cultures, and creating bridges instead of borders.

Ethics and IVDA

A team of international Voice Dialogue teachers, supported by Hal & Sidra Stone, developed an International Voice Dialogue Agreement (IVDA) about quality within the widespread Voice Dialogue community. The IVDA is committed to providing an orientation and guidelines for Voice Dialogue Facilitators and Trainers. Knowledge of these guidelines will help clients and trainees interested in Voice Dialogue facilitations and courses, to choose people to work with.

All facilitators listed on Voice Dialogue Europe know about the Agreement and clearly state whether they adhere to the IVDA or not.
